Our role includes full press office management, from drafting media releases and speech writing to handling journalist enquiries and on-site media coordination. We work closely with Hartpury’s internal teams to align messaging, generate ideas, and respond quickly to opportunities. As a trusted extension of their communications team, we help tell the stories that matter — showcasing the breadth of Hartpury’s academic offering, research, student success and sector influence.
This collaborative and consistent approach has delivered year-on-year results. Over the past academic year and with our help, Hartpury achieved press coverage valued at over £47 million (up from £19 million in the previous year), reaching a combined audience of 5.7 billion. We continue to secure quality coverage across national, regional and sector-specific media.

A standout success has been our campaign supporting Hartpury’s agriculture and agri-tech programmes. Developed to drive awareness and increase student recruitment, the campaign received widespread media coverage — including multiple features on BBC Countryfile, as well as coverage across national and regional news outlets. The work went on to receive national recognition, winning Gold at the Heist Awards for best reputation campaign — a proud moment for both the Northern Hive and Hartpury teams.
Beyond campaign delivery, our work also supports key institutional moments. We played a key role in the launch of a brand new veterinary nursing facility, coordinating press outreach and on-the-day media support to ensure the opening received maximum visibility and positive media attention. From speech writing to media briefing, we ensured every detail was considered and on-brand.
